HVAC TIPS — Hot Water Boiler

• Check to make sure the pilot is lit.


• Check to make sure that you have power to your boiler. You can check for power at the circuit breaker panel. There is also a power switch on the boiler that should be in the “on” position.


• Some pumps require oil, so check to make sure that any pumps have been oiled properly.


• If you have a thermostat with a battery, most digital thermostats do, check or change the battery. This may affect any programming that you currently have entered in your thermostat.
